A little clarity for your everyday care
The care behind the words

Our editorial approach.

A useful story should tell you something clearly, explain what supports it, and leave room for its limitations.

Sources you can follow.

Our educational guides link to the resources behind their factual claims. We prioritize primary research, official product information, and guidance from established professional organizations where relevant. Publication and update dates help readers understand when a story was prepared.

Experience described honestly.

A researched buying guide is not a hands-on test. When we publish firsthand product experience, we explain the testing context and limitations. We do not invent results, expert qualifications, reviewers, or personal experience.

A reason for each recommendation.

Product guidance should explain relevant features, trade-offs, who a product may suit, and what we do not know. Prices and availability vary by market and time. We identify the market and date when those details are material.

Commercial relationships, made clear.

Where affiliate links or sponsored content appear, the relevant article will identify that relationship. A commercial relationship must not be presented as independent testing or concealed inside editorial copy.

AI supports the work; it does not establish a fact.

We may use AI to help organize research, outline ideas, or edit text. Sources, factual claims, and final wording require editorial checking. AI-generated imagery is illustration, not evidence of a product test or a person’s results.

Corrections and updates.

When a factual issue is identified, we review the original sources and correct the affected article. A change that materially alters an article’s conclusion should be explained in that article.
